Our Mission

TBL Transitions was founded by Terry Owens in 2025. Terry spent 15 years in law-enforcement with the Kansas City Missouri police department. He held positions as an officer, field training officer, special victims detective, violent crimes detective, and Sergeant. In 2022, he made the leap into the private sector.  Terry has been the head of Security for a nationally recognized transportation brokerage firm for over four years. After leaving law-enforcement, he was contacted several times by people who were struggling to find jobs. This really resonated with him because he had many struggles of his own, which led to the development of TBL transitions.
