Terry Owens, CPP®, has more than 22 years of experience in law enforcement and corporate security. After serving as a police sergeant and detective in Kansas City, he transitioned to the private sector and now leads security operations for a $28 billion company. Drawing on firsthand experience, he helps law enforcement professionals plan confident, informed careers beyond the badge. Terry is currently the Chapter Chair for ASIS International- Kansas City.

Brenda Grigsby is a licensed therapist with more than 20 years of experience in mental health, including specialized work with first. responders and public safety professionals. She provides therapy, conducts wellness and safety appointments for police departments and facilitates Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) debriefings following critical incidents. Her work is informed by both professional expertise and lived experience within the law enforcement community.
